(Message 4107)
Posted 28 Nov 2007 by ![]() Post: Having similiar problems as mentioned by Perle. (See also Message 4068) Only downloading one unit at a time with a lot of no work sents inbetween. Will try changing perferences from contact every 1 day to 2 or 3 days to see if increasing the cache size will help. Edit : doubled the cache size and nothing happended. Does not even try to download work. Guess its crunch the little I have and onto other projects. |

Problem getting work to queue up
(Message 4068)
Posted 25 Nov 2007 by ![]() Post: Also having similar troubles. In the past have been able to download numerous units when requiring new work at one time. Now only downloading one unit at time. Then have to wait a minute for the next scheduler request and then (maybe) download the next unit. Also getting a no work sent message between downloads. No reason being given for the no work sent message. Plenty of units waiting to be sent according to the webpage on server status. Its just taken 15 minutes to download 11 units and that will only keep in work for about 9 hours even with my settings set at one day. |

CAMB 2.02
(Message 3682)
Posted 29 Oct 2007 by ![]() Post: Something strange going on here. Quad core / Vista 2 units of cosmology are running (have not seen any restarting issues). 1 unit of malariacontrol is running 1 unit of LHC@Home claims to be running but CPU time is stuck 1 unit of Cosmology claims that it is waiting to run, however both CPU time and progress bar are counting up. All Cosmology units are CAMB 2.02 While I was typing the above the LHC unit's CPU time is now counting up again. |

(Message 3453)
Posted 24 Oct 2007 by ![]() Post: Still have a listing under pending credits for old results. Have checked the individual results, and those say that credit has been granted. However, did not notice a jump up in credit total. Also RAC is dropping. Thought it would have jumped up a little bit with a credit boost. Not worried (yet). These things will work out in the long term. |

(Message 3323)
Posted 19 Oct 2007 by ![]() Post: I've just download some new work units (their dated the 18th). I'm running a Core2 Quad 2.4 GHz Old units estimate time to complete is 2 hours 36 minutes 10 seconds New units estimate time to complete is 5 hours 12 minutes 20 seconds. Should be interesting to see what the actual completion time is. |

Posted 16 Oct 2007 by ![]() Post: good question. I must have one of these longer units running at the moment and I'm not sure what to do with it. It's been running for nearly 4 hours but said it should complete in 3 hours and 9 minutes. This on a Core 2 Quad. Keep running ? Abort ? |
