Feedback on planned Cosmology@Home supporting material and C@H prize idea
(Message 3184)
Posted 9 Oct 2007 by ![]() Post: I'd love to see a quarterly report with updates on the project. Things like WUs crunched this quarter, Total users, New users - and of course what, if anything, has been learned and where things are headed. If papers are being published by your group that are based on C@H data, it'd be great to hear about those, too. Soriak's idea is certainly very-good.The way WCG does that really motivates their userbase We should do the same |

Feedback on planned Cosmology@Home supporting material and C@H prize idea
(Message 3162)
Posted 8 Oct 2007 by ![]() Post: Personally I am against prizes in money/payment.Money is just too valuable these days and it should be used only to support more scientific experiments and projects.Awards should be given only in a 'thank-you' mention in articles in such. That's at least from my point of view. For now there is some information on Prof.Wandelt's site and that is enough for me. But I know that there are very-curious people here and that is more than welcome. Hopefully in the near future ,we can get status reports and updates. |
