Finished a number of jobs for Cosmology@Home a few days ago. They have now been in the uploading stage for 3 days, waiting to be uploaded and being rejected by the server. They will soon expire. What a waste - all that processing power could have been dedicated to other projects that actually had a use for it. Fortunately, other projects that I am attached to seem to be running normally.

The science professor who did it (Ben Wandelt) was a visiting professor at U. of I., but is now back in Paris. And the software guru who did the boinc2docker code (Marius Millea) is now in California...

If this project existed because of and depended on the participation on two specific individuals who no longer contribute, and the project has apparently been placed on autopilot, then it hardly seems worth any further effort on my part, or on anyone else's, for that matter.

Pity. I joined in 2008, and while I'm a long way from the top of the leader board, I did believe in what they were trying to accomplish.

it's really disgusting. Many weeks without a life sign. Dear administrators please give us from time to time some news even "we are still working on the problems and hope that we are back up in x weeks" so we crunchers know that the project is still alive.

They may have already accomplished it. We don't know what state they are in. But they were using artificial intelligence to refine the accuracy of their models, and we were doing the training for it. Maybe it is trained enough and they have lost interest.

Looks like it's been a problem for at least a day for me....

Camb_boinc2docker is the job type. Purge jobs for this app don't seems to be running.

My uploads have been stuck for the last day as well now on 7 rigs. I have almost 1000 tasks waiting to upload.

add me to the list: no upload as out of disk space since 16.8.2021 => would be nice to get a status report if anybody is working on a fix

Back online for a while but now off again.

a waste of time

This project appears to be no longer working. Currently I have a number of tasks which appear to have completed and have a status of "updating". These tasks have been at this point for several days. Previously all tasks were failing at about midpoint. In addition I have a large number of tasks in the transfer tab with an "upload" status. All of these tasks also show a backoff status of just over five hours. The various transfers show a progress of 0% or 100%. I will let things stay for another six hours to see if anything changes. If things have not cleared up in six hours I will abort all tasks and uploads. Currently I have set the project to not allow any more downloads, although it had already stopped downloading. Please note that all other projects that I am supplying with computing time are acting normal.
