Problems with several camb_boinc2docker tasks:

These downloaded in a flood, probably due to a severe underestimate of runtimes (initially about 5 minutes).

Each was shown needing 10 virtual CPU cores. They started actually using 3 virtual CPU cores, leaving 7 more idle. Then, they stopped using even those three, even though it kept them reserved.

By the time the progress reached 0.100% after a few minutes, the estimated remaining time was over 4 days.

After 28 minutes elapsed, the estimated remaining time was over 19 days, with progress still at 0.100%. Then the tasks went into Computation error.

These tasks appear to be trying to have the VM simulate multiple cores at once, something I haven't seen before. Are there restrictions on which versions of the VM has this feature?

Set "no new tasks" and abort any tasks you have. Exit Boinc and any running tasks. Go to your Project Preferences on the website and set "Max # CPUs" to something smaller, like eight or less. The setting "Max # jobs" may control concurrent jobs. For a bit more control, there is also a posting in the FAQ section about setting an "app_config.xml"
When you start Boinc back up and allow tasks it should behave better.

No and sometimes people have problems with the version included with Boinc, it's not always the latest, so here is a link to download the latest version:
