Hi everyone, we're upgrading the server to a new machine on Dec 19. Expect intermittent outages which could last as long as 24 hours. No action is needed from users during the upgrade. More workunits will be on the way shortly thereafter. Thanks! |

It is running just fine using the new VirtualBox 6.0.0 running under Win7 64-bit. But I will have to put them on hold for a day or two as I finish up other work. |

I have just added a new computer to my "fleet" of (now) 5, replacing a failed computer. Although I have 4 other computers currently merrily processing Cosmology@Home tasks, when I attempt to add the project to my BIONC Desktop app. on my new computer (with "United Science" as the Manager), I keep getting a "failed to add project" message. I tried both "http://" and "https://" prefixes to the URL, but nothing is working. Any suggestions? |

Did you mean "Science United" instead of "United Science"? Did you connect your previous computer directly to Cosmology@home? Are you using your Cosmology@home user and password or the Science United to attempt addition? It suggests to detach from previously running project on their website. https://scienceunited.org/intro.php |

For weeks I try to upload my results which are ready to report, but it seems that they keep sitting there with no active upload !! Is there something wrong with the server ? Or is Cosmetology down ??? |

http://www.cosmologyathome.org/forum_thread.php?id=7730 The unit feeder has been dead since Christmas. You can't download units nor upload results. Yesterday the whole cosmo@home domain was down. Administrators have disappeared. It's not looking very good. |

http://www.cosmologyathome.org/forum_thread.php?id=7730 Well work is flowing again for what it's worth... Admin still MIA. The Professor, Ben Wandelt, behind the project responded to a side email and said things were going to get better... that was about 10 months to a year ago. He posted a news article on this site 9 months ago saying bigger things are coming, but he needs to find the people. I removed all my systems about 8 months ago. I am not willing to waste clock cycles on a project that has not published a science paper an extremely long time and is currently running on good intentions. If and when it becomes viable I will reevaluate. Bill F ![]() |

Probably not the right place to ask this question, but... I keep getting work units to process & I complete them successfully & they upload, but I never see the results show up in my total? Is there a bug in the system? Are my work units actually getting into the project or just going into limbo? |

Try changing your project preferences to just run the Legacy application that does not run Vbox and see if they will run successfully Bill F ![]() |

Error reported by file upload server: can't open file wu_....; No space left on device. I have it here too, it is the project server that has a problem ![]() |
