Has anyone else besides me notice that there is a large backlog of work units (165,487 as of this writing) waiting for assimilation according to the server status page? The camb_assimilator program is not running but not intentionally disabled according to the server status page.

The assimilator is now back down again. As of this writing, 99,249 work units are waiting for assimilation. However, this is down compared to the 165,487 work units that were waiting for assimilation, so this project is showing signs that the work is not going to waste. I had left because I thought that my work was going to waste. I will rejoin.

The backlog is cleared and the assimilator is working as of this writing.
