Ooo neat! Because of the messed up clock, posts are going back in time, and in mixed order.

I have just joined Cosmo@home. I have completed about 18 tasks and they are all reporting the following problem. I know the servers were down, but saw that they are back up again. It this a problem at my end?

I am getting the same error messages, trying to upload WUs crunched during the down time.

The error message follows: Error on upload. can\'t open log file.

Note to all- If you have uploads pending, Boinc will not download new work.
(At least with Boinc 5.10.8 & .13).

Boinc 5.10.20 doesn\'t have this issue. I\'m also getting the \"Error on file upload: can\'t open log file\" errors on wus crunched during the downtime.

Is anyone getting \"|Cosmology@Home|Temporarily failed upload of wu_110307_100326_2_1_1: transient upload error\" since the server is back up? I have approximately 60+ wu in transfer status.

Message 3924 - Posted: 17 Nov 2007, 20:21:08 UTC

As of 3:15PM EST, on Saturday the 17th, the server status page is showing 1,444 results ready-to-send and my client is getting:

11/17/2007 15:03:41 |Cosmology@Home|Message from server: No work sent
11/17/2007 15:03:41 |Cosmology@Home|Message from server: (there was work but it was committed to other platforms)

Maybe somebody needs to go into the forest and goose the elves?

And by the way, it looks like the project clock may be wrong.

Ummm, never mind. Still learning to count.
Haven\'t got all the bugs worked out yet.
Next week, we start on fractions.

I looked into this and there seems to be a problem with the RAID setup on the new machine. \"df\" posts /home as 100% full, while the actual usage (given by du) is at about 4%.

Edit: is anyone able to upload results now?

You are doing very well Ben,
I forced a few work units to update and they uploaded ok. I have not tried to force all of my results, I will let Boinc send them back as the time runs down.

So appears to now work.
