These WUs took far too long to run, and as a result, some hosts rejected them. I just changed the input parameters to be a little more forgiving, which will result in each WU taking around 10 mins or so to complete. It's a problem that others have reported with Windows 98, so thank you for bringing it to my attention that this also affects XP. Acme- For our first release, we are using a legacy application using BOINC's wrapper program. Therefore, checkpointing is not implemented and won't be for the foreseeable future. I have the impression they mean nothing else than that the work unit ended in error. Is that an error message that is specific for newer Boinc versions, Boinc internal specialists? Seems where there is a quorum of 2, replication of 4 and if you're 4th (sometimes 3rd I've noticed as well) getting the result in, the result is marked as 'invalid' and you are granted 0 credits.
