Hi There :-)
If you're into Space Type Stuff, Try SETI@HOME and EINSTEIN@HOME. Remember, You'll need to Set Up an Account for Each One. You can Use The same User Name and E-mail Address. That way it's easier and everything is together.

Have Fun.

Hi There,
If you are referring to ORBIT@HOME it is currently Inactive, and has been for some time. At this stage, there is no word on when it will Resume Activity.
If you have been attempting to use ORBIT@HOME, the best idea would be to Manually SUSPEND The Project, until you see a Notification on The BOINC Website or in BOINC Messsges, or hear from another User that ORBIT is Definitely Back In Action. Personally, I Resume The Project (ORBIT) about once every 40 to 60 days and leave it for about 24 to 36 hours just in case the ORBIT Home Page happens to become Active again, and incase anything is Posted on it: But as I just mentioned, The HOME PAGE is also Inactive (If you OPEN it, you'll get a Message saying The LINK Is Broken).

I'd Love to have The RAM that you must have on your Computer (No Offence Meant). By the look of that List of Projects, if you are Running The Projects all together, and maybe using the Computer for Other Everyday Work at the same time, I'd guess that your Computers Resources are Overloaded. You could try Setting Your Preferences on Each Project to Only Run at Certain Hours each day, so that you have only about a Dozen Projects Running at Any One Time. From Memory, I think Rosetta uses quite a lot of Resources, so it could be stealing computer time from other Projects (so to speak).

Hi There ... I know this is an old post, but have you checked your Preferences to make sure that The Missing Computer is set to be Displayed? ..... (Sorry, I can't remember exactly where it's found).

Okay thanks for the info.. I've since noticed that the other Projects are doing it too. However, I've also noticed that the Percetage of Work Copleted is Increasing, so that relieved my mind. I am now Running Projects/Tasks again as per their Priority to Complete them on time. i am quite happy to Run Each Task until it has Completed; but due to my Settings on My System, only 2 or 3 Tasks will Run at the same Time: So some Tasks will need to Run in Excess of 24 Hours before/if I need to Reset/Abort. I am Alternating The Tasks to Run depending on how much of the Job has been Copleted and when the Others are Due For Completion. This seems to be Working Successfully. Thanks again for your Reply.

The Elapsed Time of The TASK is Increasing as naturally expected: HOWEVER, Why is The Remaining (Estimated) Time INCREASING? ... Yes, INCREASING by the Second (although sometimes 2 or 3 seconds at a time). Before you ask ... Is It FLUCTUATING ..... NO it's NOT ... It's INCREASING. Something is Obviously Seriously Wrong. All my other Projects and Related tasks are working Normally.

ps ... I have SUSPENDED The task (which is Due For Completion on 9th November),and I have Chosen to Not Receive Any More Tasks from cosmology@home until this problem is Resolved.
I have 2 other C@H Tasks WAITING TO START which I have Also SUSPENDED. These 2 are due on the 17th November. I will attempt to Run The Latter 2 Tasks once my other allocated Project Tasks (which are due for Completion at various times) have completed, unless I am Allocated Additional Tasks from The Other Projects, if Time Allows.
