CAMB 2.09 cpu usage
(Message 5080)
Posted 8 Mar 2008 by JAMC Post: My home PC (Q6600 @3.2, XP Home) had become very slow and unresponsive today so after anti-virus/ spyware scans I checked Windows Task Manager and saw both SETI cores running at 25% but the COSMO cores were bouncing wildly between 0% and 25% CPU usage. I suspended COSMO and the PC perked right back up again... COSMO suspended on all three quads for me for now... |

Posted 27 Jan 2008 by JAMC Post: First off, let me assure everybody that I am reading my PMs, but there are so many that it\'s difficult to get through them all quickly. Fair enough Scott, that\'s good enough for me ... I realize you have been swamped and under a certain amount of pressure to make it all right again so thanks for your effort. All I want is \'Status Quo Ante Bellum\' ;)... restoration of my pre-snafu Pending Credit cache> no bonus credit requested or expected... good luck |

Well, check this: http://www.cosmologyathome.org/forum_thread.php?id=366 Don\'t get me wrong here folks, I\'m just trying to break even after all is said and done- just not end up -10,000 credits and be jumped on for it... :), :), :)!!! (smiley face- smiley face- smiley face) Edit: In fact if it will help my case I can fax someone my \'pending credit\' printout from yesterday morning- if I can dig it out of the garbage can at work tomorrow morning... |

Posted 26 Jan 2008 by JAMC Post: As I stated earlier in this thread please PM Scott if that OUCH! hurts that much.I\'m confused... I have WU\'s listed as \"client detached\" and \"didn\'t need\" with zero credits granted... do these WU\'s get \'bonus\' credit or are they discarded for good? I did... yesterday... I printed my pending credit yesterday and there was 100+ WU\'s there or 10,000 credits so yes that does hurt given the \'generous\' nature of the bonus credits given others as a result of this event... not that credits matter !!! :) |

I have WU\'s listed as \"client detached\" and \"didn\'t need\" with zero credits granted... do these WU\'s get \'bonus\' credit or are they discarded for good? Well, bottom line I lost my \'pending credit\' of ~100 WU\'s that was sitting there prior to the snafu... my COSMO totals have changed little in the last day or so as seen in my account or the web stats totals... OUCH! Oh well, this is in Beta :) |

I have WU\'s listed as \"client detached\" and \"didn\'t need\" with zero credits granted... do these WU\'s get \'bonus\' credit or are they discarded for good? \'client detached\' I assume was a result of trying to reattach to the new URL\'s (some confusion on my part as to which was the \'right\' one to change to)... what is \'didn\'t need\'?? Thanks! |

Posted 25 Jan 2008 by JAMC Post: So I had ~100 WU\'s (4,842.89)in \'Pending\' this am before the snafu and they all vanished but my total credit has not increased- should the adjustment to the total credit have occurred by now? Thanks! |
