Very mysterious!

New page design: Status all green (\"Running\")

Old page design: Status most red (\"Not Running\")

WOW! Thanks, I hadn\'t even thought about looking at the old page. Kinda puts a new spin on things, huh?

It seems that while its green across the board at the server status page, the validator is still losing ground. Is it just me or does anyone else see something I don\'t?

Seem to be over 77k now so maybe all isn\'t well! Let\'s figure this out folks so we can all get back to work! Maybe we can start by an \"UN tweak\" of whatever you did on the 4th,.... and lets go from there!!!

Yeah, it\'s getting a little ridiculous & as usual no word from Scott on whats going on ... 0_o ... I got this message when trying to look @ my Pending Wu\'s > Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3417 bytes) in /home/skruger2/public_html/html/inc/db_conn.inc on line 83 ... So the Meltdown has probably started already ... :)

HeHe! Maybe they shouldn\'t have \"tweaked\" the server back on July 4th! It has now gone BOOM!

WU\'s waiting for validation now stand at 38,076 ( a rise of 17,000 in the last 20 hrs.) also \" can\'t attach shared memory \" errors are increasing. As it\'s obvious that the problem is getting worse and will not not just go away, maybe somebody should take a look at it.

ok now it\'s past 50k! I think you may want to kick the validator now.

I know its not high on the priority list but I\'m still not getting email notification of PMs. My preferences are set correctly (notify immediately by email) but I just found a couple PMs last night sent by a friend a couple days ago that I wasn\'t notified of. Thought you might like to know, thanks.

I think with everyone so split on OLD/NEW maybe you should have a choice/link on the home page or take a poll and let the masses decide.

For those using the old design ... the entry page has an error on it :

When prompted, enter http://www.cosmologyathome.org/testsite/

This is not correct of course, even though it might work for a while. Attach to http://www.cosmologyathome.org/ instead

Nice find. The secret beta site is breached, man the guns!

By the way, is this also a bug? Shouldn\'t the color=black option be disabled somehow?

When posting with black it shows the background isn\'t black. It\'s more of a very dark red or brown.

I\'m thinking with this background yellow or another similar color would probably work best along with a larger font.

Edit: I mean with the new design.

Don\'t like the font/color scheme. I\'m, er.., well, a senior citizen and frankly this new design on my terminal looks hideous and very straining on the eyes. I have to squint to read it or get a magnifying glass. Don\'t like the white on black and small fonts. I suppose the idea is good, but the implementation is NOT COOL.

I do agree the font could be a little bigger and maybe a different color but all in all I think it\'s a good start. Don\'t forget about the page width thing.

I think it looks great! A lot easier on the eyes! Now about the screen width thing like we had on the old setup, could you bring that back? Also email notification for PM\'s still not working
