Progress report on project maintenance?
(Message 7399)
Posted 8 Oct 2008 by ![]() Post: It has now been 3 days. Has any discovery been made? Any estimate as to the time when the project might be back up and at least functioning in a \"test\" state like what we were in before? Looks like they may be rewriting the whole code or at least doing a complete overhaul! This may be a GOOD thing! I hope so. |

All Pending - \"Over Didn\'t need\"
(Message 7359)
Posted 5 Oct 2008 by ![]() Post: If credits have been granted, it is not necessarily visible in the result status. It is possible to grant credits to the user accounts without beeing visible in the results list. This is exactly the reason I only left 1 old box on this project,... They \"burned\" me last time and I really didn\'t want it to happen again! While I do believe in the science, I won\'t be \"burned\" for even 1 more wu.! And no credits were given this time either. |

Posted 6 Sep 2008 by ![]() Post: Well, apparently I\'m blind because I don\'t see where I have an option to \"enable test work\". Where is this option? This is actually an edit but I just got 1 of the 2.15 wu\'s! Hopefully it validates and once it does I\'ll be 100% cosmo again! I hope you guys did your job right this time! Best of Luck!! |

I actually don\'t mind, it\'s more hope than I had yesterday!! Hope the announcement comes soon guys! |

CAMB 2.15
(Message 6888)
Posted 2 Aug 2008 by ![]() Post: So after a week of failed downloads for version 2.14, I was startled this morning when I saw CAMB 2.15 being downloaded by a Linux x86 machine. Since the home page claims that Linux app problems have been \"fixed\" but gives no details, I had hope. It downloaded successfully. As long as they fail @ 1 sec I don\'t mind, when they run to completion and won\'t download.... thats when I have a problem! We\'ll see how they do on windoze 64. |

CAMB 2.14
(Message 6720)
Posted 23 Jul 2008 by ![]() Post: Finally picked up a camb 2.14 on my slowest box(266g p4) and immediately got a message that I couldn\'t get another wu because it was \"committed to other platforms\"? And my Quad(Intel(R) Xeon CPU 3.00GHz) has been \"kicking the client\" for over a day with no results. And since that box is halfway across the country I have no idea what the log file is on it, just that it has no work. |

Is there a reason why they\'re not at the top of the list anymore?
If I\'m not mistaken I believe it has something to do with the Task ID #, the Wu or Wu\'s are just taking their place in line with the Task ID #\'s of the other Tasks I think, or something like that anyway hehe ... :)
Sounds like as good an EXCUSE as any. Now if someone could just keep an eye on the project on the weekends! ;) |

Probably a good idea to keep the feeder off until the problem is fixed with the validation issue. Hope it works now. Edit: so far so good, I see the #\'s starting to drop. keep up the good work! |
