I have the same problem here both on a Windows XP (32 Bit) and a Linux (32 Bit) machine. In both cases BOINC complains about the checksums of the executables. Perhaps only the 32 Bit versions are affected? Both machines have Intel processors (Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Duo), BOINC is 6.4.5 and 6.4.7.

Having the same problem here on ubuntu 64bit / BOINC 6.6.20...

[edit]Now I\'m pretty sure it is his profile. On the front-page the last sentence of his profile is \"Member of\". If you look at his profile you can see that the sentence should read \"Member of UK BOINCTeam\"...

LOL!
A new kind of UOTD-hack!
Put a div in your profile and it spans over the frontpage... just poor coding I guess.

Many still use the old design (http://www.cosmologyathome.org/testsite) to be able to read without getting blind.

The problem appears only with the new design.

The project is in some kind of \"wait state\".
Scott is gone and Ben doesn\'t seem to have the time... and \"homogeneous redundancy\" does the rest.

I\'m just trying to delete an old host from the list.

One won\'t go away because of two tasks from Jan. - the tasks are there, but the workunit isn\'t.

Someone might wanna clean up the db...?

Also got some of these, also from January.
The task is there - but the workunit is gone...?

Besides those lost ones - how long are finished tasks/wus kept?

I don\'t worry about not getting the work credited - we always got our cobblestones when there were problems with the server/apps.

But, yes, a little more information could easily cool us all down...

LOL ... Calm down & have a cup of Coffee Iggy, everybody\'s having a hard time Uploading their finished Wu\'s at the moment mainly because I think Scott has that feature turned off for the time being.

does that make sense? the queues are drained and the all the WUs beeing out in the field won\'t make the db faster...

I am absolutely disappointed with the completely inflated and out of proportion credits rates you get here. Wouldn\'t it be for some valuable science that I hope for I\'d be gone long since this giving credit for next to nothing started.

Credits here on this project should be divided by 4.

But the server issues should be solved before ;)

Seconded.

I\'d go one step further and suggest to put the old design back in place and put the new one on /testsite as it is far from being \"productive\".

...so I switched back to the \'test site design\' and urge Scott to always keep it available to us old timers in one form or another :)

Well, on first look the new design is nice... but that white on black makes it very hard to read through long texts.

Adding to the page width button we need a invert color button!

Always wanted to write something for Wikipedia...
Just don't think my English is good enougth for it - but I'm ready to give it a try at wikipedia.de!

We just need "At least one published source for your information, such as a URL or a book title and author"

Ben's welcome Letter is a good start, but we need some dates, history, founding, pubications, ... all the stuff that makes a good article and is not to be found here...

Ben...?
