I have three Camb Legacy 2.17 running with the time remaining increasing, Deadline was over a week ago. This has happened before and I aborted them to free up my computer. Should I do it again and what is causing this?

I'm with you on this! The last three jobs that I have been running for Cosmology have gone past the 'deadline' after investing over 100 hours in them. I don't know if it is Boinc or Cosmology but something has to improve or I will just toss Cosmology into the trash heap.

Not all of us have fast machines and while we want to contribute, it is not at the expense of the other projects that we have invested in. If the 'planners' of the projects are not able to estimate the time of completion, Boinc must take a role in assigning more time into them. I have one running now that is 64+ hours into it and just went from 3+ hours remaining to 34+ hours remaining. NOT ACCEPTABLE!

This has happened too often with no response from Cosmology, I am deleting them from my tasks.

A also happens to me very often lately, tasks that last more than a day incomprehensibly, when before it did not happen, an unacceptable loss of computing time, because I have to cancel them since the time of duration is endless, I have taken The decision not to download more tasks, until this issue is not resolved and return to normal as before.
It is not understood as there is no explanation from the creators of the project.
Greetings.

It appears this is happening with greater frequency. I will join the others and hold off running any more tasks until the project responds with a fix.

I still have the same issue. A large proportion of units start off with a "Remaining time" (for me) of 7.5h, but after a few hours of work with a corresponding decreasing remaining time, the remaining time stops falling. I abort the job after a while, normally by which time the time spent plus time remaining is getting near 24h.

Same here. I'm at 80+% on two tasks that have been running for two days now. It is very slowly decreasing but at this rate it'll go over another day or two. This is silly. I'll suspend until there's some kind of fix or answer.
