Running a Debian box side by side with an Ubuntu box. Boinc manager works fine lasts long time in Debian, but almost nothing of the manager shows up in the Ubuntu box. Is there some huge difference in their two packages or have I done something wrong at installation? I did reinstall on the Ubuntu but that didn't help.
I do get a text box that is titled "Boinc Manager" but I can't see any menu except at the bottom of the box is "notices," and a couple other items, none of which take me to anything else. In the middle of the box, if I hit "synchronize," it shows 3 projects and brings up a new window that lets me add projects but not delete any already added that are defunct.

Are you in Advanced view vs Simple view? Control + Shift + A.

Ctrl Shitf A worked! What is odd, though, is that it was a menu item on the Debian box but nowhere to be seen in the Ubuntu box. Thanks for the info!
