Hey all, a few updates on the Planck jobs. The contest is officially over, but I've got some more jobs submitted, just rounding out a few results we're still interested in looking at. Also the stats page is still updating the rankings, I just haven't had time to go in and freeze it at the point the contest was actually over, but I will try to do it at some point.

Finally, for me it was kind of fun watching the leader board change as the contest went on. It was clear some of you were really gunning for those top spots, and it was cool to see :) Also, since I love playing with data, I made these which shows just how the contest went down, at least for some of the users/teams in the top spots.

Here the top users' total credits,

In terms of credits/day, it looked like this,

For the teams, here's the total credits,

and the daily amount,

I'd say pretty impressive that two of the eventual winners of the top three spots didn't run a single job until halfway or later in the contest! Anyway, now that I've got the code maybe the next contest we can have these live updating from the start.

So thanks again everyone that contributed and/or is continuing to (these last results that will trickle in before the paper is done really *are* interesting). Well have some more posts about the results and the paper in the near future.

You should implement it into the screensaver!

I like this idea! Screensaver is somewhere on my (and probably many of yours') wishlist, we'll see when we can make it happen.
