Anything that might go wrong. In the past, it has been work units that stuck at 0% complete, or else at 99% complete. Also, there have been validate errors too. I think these problems are fixed, and I have not seen them since the new 0.08 camb_boinc2docker (vbox64_mt) version came out. But that may be just my OS (Win7 64-bit) and machine (i7-4770) with VirtualBox 5.0.8 and lots of memory.

I also use a write-cache (PrimoCache) to protect my SSD from writes, but that is mainly for other projects and this one is not too bad. However, I have found that a write cache (or placing the BOINC data folder on a ramdisk) often helps reduce the error rate.
