Look this will be my only post but I'm currently running projects up to 100k, this being 1 of them. Now my q6600 will pull an average of .006 per sec with most projects, running as high as .020 with projects that have juiced their points. When I'm doing 65,000 secs of work ( 18hrs ), requesting 298 points and being issued 140 points thats disgusting, pathetic and wrong. That comes out to .0022. When I hit 10,000 I'm out. I did not read your thread about it, I'm just commenting on my experience. At least hit the average. Otherwise it's just not worth it. Goodbye, Patrick

Oh ya, raising to 200 points only makes it .003

This may come as a shock to you, you might want to be sitting, but there are people that run BOINC projects for the science. I apologise for any injury you may have sustained reading this.

On the other hand, points were raised or will be raised (I don't keep track) to 420 very recently.

Completely agree. I'm back to BOINC projects after 6 years of absence, of course NOT for the statistics. My resources are used for a good scientific cause.

OK, I'm new to the project (although not new to BOINC) and I have no idea what these people are talking about. Do you get some external reward for points? And if so, why? If you're not doing it for the science, why join?
