I was wondering if there is a possible problem with the way Cosmology exports the host stats. I have 4 hosts that are doing or have done work for Cosmology and these are all listed OK under my account. About a week ago I noticed that my HOST 19724 was no longer on the lists of the two stat sites that I frequent. I waited a day but still not back on the list, so I downloaded some work units to this host, processed and returned them to see if this would add the host back on the list. It did not. I then waited another day and then downloaded some more work after reading on one of the Stat sites that others were having the same problem and it appeared to be Cosmology that was causing the problem. Processed that work and returned it but still this host is not appearing on the stat sites. My overall total is correct on the sites but over 260,000 credits (Cosmology itself is missing from this computers project list plus all its credits) are missing from this computers total on the sites. Does anyone have an idea as to why? |

Same here. At first I thought it was just Willy\'s Boinc stats which I normally use but the origin seems to be the project\'s export of host data. See this link to another stats page and scroll down half way. Note the change on November 30th (the day the system came back from the outage). Both my current machines have lost their credit but not the machine that I retired in the summer. Again my personal total is unaffected. It just doesn\'t add up! Phoneman1 |

There\'s something else weird going on. According to BOINCStats and at least 2 other stats sites, I have my computers hidden here. I haven\'t. Then according to the Knights say Ni stats, both of my current hosts didn\'t crunch in the past couple of months. So... something fishy. Later edit: Anshul promised me he\'ll look into it. Jord. |

Yep, all three of my computers are missing from the stats sites as well, but show on my hosts page. The host.gz file does not contain any of my hosts once it is unpacked. I don\'t know how this file is built, but that would be a good place to start looking. ![]() Calm Chaos Forum...Join Calm Chaos Now |

I\'m also having the same problem. My BOINC combined total is correct but the hosts don\'t show as crunching Cosmo. Also, my hosts shows as hidden at the stats sites but they are not hidden in my Cosmo prefs. |

I\'m also having the same problem. My BOINC combined total is correct but the hosts don\'t show as crunching Cosmo. Is anyone from the project looking into this? I would kinda like to get my hosts credit back at the stats sites. |

Not only that. I\'ve lost nearly 100k credits this week on cosmo. Strange is that, seen on Boincstats, one host get a hit twice, first on 30th november and second this week. Why we get no answer from Admin\'s? ![]() |

Dear all, I sincerely apologize for this problem. Both Scott and I have been extremely busy with finals this week and I will still be busy with them next week. Scott has agreed to help clear up this problem on Friday (Dec 12) so you should some improvement after that. Once again, I am sorry we could not get to this earlier. Thank you for your patience. |

There was nothing changed and it\'s like the days before since 30th Nov. In Boincstats are all of my normally viewable hosts hidden and Cosmo is out of credits on all my hosts. I don\'t understand the philosophy of cosmology-admins. They have time to set up a new validator but no time to eliminate an error? ![]() |

There was nothing changed and it\'s like the days before since 30th Nov. In Boincstats are all of my normally viewable hosts hidden and Cosmo is out of credits on all my hosts. The old validation scheme is what led to the whole site going down under load in the early summer. It caused constant problems with people not getting credit for WU they had completed. So that was our first priority to get fixed. We should be able to handle many more users and WUs under the new scheme and you get credit reliably, without having to wait for wingmen. This is next on our list. Ben Creator of Cosmology@Home |

Just checked bionc stats and I still have only one host showing up. On \"boinc.netsoft-online.com\" stats cosmo still has a large number of hosts missing. only 1533 of a total 10419 are showing as active, about 4000 possibly active hosts dont show up There is a large verticle cut in numbers, and still a gradual fall after that, some will genuinly be `not active` the rest are still in limbo as of date and time of this post. |

Same problem here. My host: http://www.cosmologyathome.org/results.php?hostid=38486 My host/pc statistics: http://boincstats.com/stats/boinc_host_graph.php?pr=bo&id=4884628 http://it.allprojectstats.com/show.php?projekt=0&id=4372583 Why are hosts hidden on account stats? Any idea to fix this error? Our account is shared by many different people (I wanted to promote Cosmology but wit this bug it will be impossible) and it\'s not so funny having my pc without credits everyday. Bye. |

It has now been over a month since I posted this problem with a great number of the Cosmology@home hosts not appearing in the XML host update file. This has led to these hosts not appearing on Stat Sites, or if the host in question does other projects then the other projects still show but Cosmology no longer shows for that host. Just wondering, as long as finals are over, Christmas break is over and holidays are over, whether this issue can now be looked at. Thanks Conan. |
