And a lot of people have a pretty high RAC over here!

Its an interesting stress-tester and far more productive than just running Linpack!

I am a member of Allprojectstats.com and my points are not updating to their website. Are you aware of this problem?

They ARE aware of it (and other things, like questions about Mac app etc.), they just do not care...

Yes, it is a pity. Just look at the front-page: Last update/news are from Dec 23rd! In August 2007(!) they announced a Mac application "soon" (http://www.cosmologyathome.org/forum_thread.php?id=37&nowrap=true#2216). No sign of it until today, not even an announcement.

This project is obviously dying.

I hate to admit it but something is wrong. My team credits have not updated for a long time, but if I look at other teams, the credits are updating there. I mean, the science fascinates me and this gives me a way to be involved in it, but I buy the hardware, software, and bandwidth and then the electricity to run these computers. Besides a chance to remotely participate in the science, all the return is these crummy points. I am beginning to challenge the logic of even participating at all.

I would say it's already a zombie.

Anybody who crunches here is probably just wasting his machines and electricity for absolutely nothing.

Can we have a weekly or even a monthly newsletter to help give us an idea of any discoveries being made and scientific papers due to this program?

Hello Amis,

We will try to provide more frequent updates. I will soon post such an update. However, I do not believe that a weekly, or even a monthly, update is practical or possible. Such large scale projects take time and efforts, and it is very unlikely that progress could happen so quickly. Please stay tuned in.

A yearly update is asking too much.

This project has to be so low on Ben Wandelt's list that it's too much of a bother to really even explain what we're really doing.

No site updates. No news updates. The WUs keep coming, but...Yeah, not sure I am not just wasting my time. Given how little BW cares about this work, wonder if the data will even be parsed.

All I can see from it (possibly) is a paper published in 2009:

Interestingly, the domain was created and registered for seven years, but the University only renewed it for twelve months:

Domain Name:COSMOLOGYATHOME.ORG
Domain ID: D148862867-LROR
Creation Date: 2007-08-13T19:09:40Z
Updated Date: 2014-08-18T19:09:37Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2015-08-13T19:09:40Z
Registrant Name:UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS

We shall see in six months if anyone has even remembered to renew it.
