Please read today\'s announcement on the front page. This project is down for maintenance and major upgrades. The announcement does not mention how long the project will be down but I suspect that it will last awhile, perhaps a few weeks at least.

Despite this news, I am patient and will be sticking around as I have always done in the past. This is my favorite project!

It\'s not my favourite, but definitely one of the better ones.
As always, especially in beta, patience is a virtue.

I\'ll certainly be back after the maintenance, confident that it will be running as in the good old days!

If past performance was \"the good old days\" then we all should be absolutely ecstatic if this project actually gets itself running smoothly and permanently. But if you believe that history serves to predict the future, well...

I\'v run this project since the beginning and have only had minor problems once in a while, till the recent problems started... Granted, I don\'t visit the project page very often, but my computers rarely ran out of work in the \'good old days\'.
Please don\'t be so pessimistic because of the current troubles ;-)

You ascribe a quality to me that isn\'t there and that I do not value. I do not judge based on the emotions of optimism or pessimism, but I can clearly judge based on track record, though you\'re assessment of the track record and mine are not synonymous. On principle I like this project\'s objectives, I simply do not like the level of attention given it.

Nor do I, the way it is running now.
All I know is that the 1 year I\'ve been running this project, my machines have rarely been without C@H work. I only assume this work has been put to good use by the scientists, i.e. has not been wasted.
Some work units may have errored out, yes, and the server may have been down from time to time, but I have not been much affected by this with the roughly 1-day cache I have. Nor might I have been granted exactly the amount of credit I should, but honestly, this is a side issue to a scientific project.
So I really do not see how this project has been running so badly all the time?
