No Validation

According to the server status page, wu awaiting validation 21,000 and still rising. my own pending list has been growing constantly for the last two days. Any chance of getting this sorted soon. m4rtyn **************************  *************************

In trying to figure out what is going on....we have a lot of red on the server status but I am able to send and receive work but a lot of no work sent messages ...validation is occurring however at a snails pace.....and now we have no stats export as of the last 2 missed updates. |

In trying to figure out what is going on....we have a lot of red on the server status but I am able to send and receive work but a lot of no work sent messages ...validation is occurring however at a snails pace.....and now we have no stats export as of the last 2 missed updates. This looks like the logjam that happened before, where it appeared that certain tasks validate right away, while others get put on the pending stack. For example, look at this task. My host is 12122. So, that task was reported at 6 Jul 2008 10:52:02 UTC, and I\'m the 2nd host in, which should\'ve triggered validation, yet it is stuck as \"Initial\". Now take a look at this one, where again, I\'m the 2nd one in, but later in the day than the previous task, reporting at 6 Jul 2008 17:10:50 UTC, yet it has validated. Now, for a real brain-teaser, take a look at this one, where I\'m the 1st host in. The 2nd host reported at 7 Jul 2008 4:33:03 UTC, and it has validated as well. So, why\'s it doing silly stuff like that?

hmmm....umm Houston? There are currently 459 completed WUs in my pendings tab awaiting validation and a full cache on each machine crunching away. I have set them to NNW until this gets sorted. Just couldn\'t figure out why my RAC kept dropping. LOL Kinda wish I had caught it earlier. Cross fingers none of this gets lost. Server status page currently shows: Results ready to send 83,418 Results in progress 261,935 Workunits waiting for Validation 64,812 o_O

571 results pending here. I can\'t remember a time I\'ve had so many waiting on this project. At the rate we\'re going, I would not be surprised if we get a database meltdown in the near future... Maybe it\'s time to follow brandontroy\'s lead and set Cosmology@home to no new work. |

Yeah, it\'s getting a little ridiculous & as usual no word from Scott on whats going on ... 0_o ... I got this message when trying to look @ my Pending Wu\'s > Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3417 bytes) in /home/skruger2/public_html/html/inc/db_conn.inc on line 83 ... So the Meltdown has probably started already ... :) |

Many Admins have Hollydays or someting this Days.. Its now soon 100k not Vadidation WU - 5 Million Credis... thats get a Funny Stats Day if they get validation. |

Many Admins have Hollydays or someting this Days.. Yes IF they get validated... But whats about the credits if the Database explodes about all of the WU\'s? |

Many Admins have Hollydays or someting this Days.. The database is built using a raid array so there is always backup and the tasks have always validated unless there was something wrong with them. The server will get fixed at some point and validate whats out there. |
