Message 7128 - Posted: 26 Aug 2008, 8:19:40 UTC - in response to Message 7124.

Note the timing... two weeks from the \"sledgehammer\" technique used on the \"old\" tasks being marked as \"not needed\". They all timed out and the WU generator created new tasks to replace those that Scott flagged previously.

Thanks Thunder, I missed that. I must admit I was expecting a flood of work 10 days (the reporting deadline) after the axe fell on Aug 9th but it never came on August 19th or 20th!

However, looking again at some of mine that arrived on Aug 24th that doesn\'t explain all of them. See wu 4938574 for an example. This appears to have been sent out exactly 30 days after the the two not needed tasks were created.

For whatever reason I guess we were lucky to get them. I\'ve not seen any wu\'s created in August since about Aug 13th so there still seems to be a log jam somewhere.....

Bah, I think you\'re correct phoneman. I was looking for a pattern and thought I saw one, but you are correct that we would have expected it to come in 10 days, not 14 or so.

Of course, now the issue would appear to be the 17 hour backlog that the transitioner is experiencing. Not going to get much done if tasks can\'t transition from one state to another. :-\\
