The \"arrangement\" reached between the community and Ben\'s team was that the credits would be slightly generous whilst we are in testing and that Scott would not be constantly going back to the database when valid results did not receive credit because of a lack of quorum. The idea was that this would free him up to continue to develop the project. Over the long term you should not be out of pocket. Dave.

I think the max# of error/total/success needs to be bumped up as it is currently set too low and will keep this scenario from being an issue. The low numbers are a remnant of having bad results last year ,was set low for that reason, and never got bumped back up when everything was smooth again.

Jeff, I agree with you. 2 is probably too low as max # of errors. Maybe a scheme like max # of error/total/success 3,6,3 or even 5,8,3 would be more appropriate.

@B52: Your machine is 13195, right? Because the WU handled by machine 3592 did hit a real error.

One thing that strikes me as odd is that both cases were triggered quickly due to multiple download errors. I don\'t know if I agree with that specific type of error being a \"workunit error\". Sure, it\'s an error, but I don\'t know if it is a valid enough reason to give up on a workunit...

We go forward, we go back.

Success/Error/Total results is now 3/3/6.

And yet another one that will go down the same road when finished by me

http://www.cosmologyathome.org/workunit.php?wuid=1057111

These are \"old\" wu\'s, is it in anyway possible to

1. Delete all these wu from the database, INSTEAD off resending them

or

2. Do a mass update off all wu\'s to reflect the above change

or

2. Do a mass update off all wu\'s to reflect the above change

1) Since most people aren\'t having a problem with these WUs, deleting them would waste everybody\'s time.
2) In the past, this has caused some issues that were difficult and time-consuming to fix, so this is also not an option.

The old WUs should clear out in a couple of days, so just be patient.

Seems as if 3,6,3 is not enough
