Hi,

I\'m participate in your project, and I\'m experiencing CPID problems.

It appears (in my particular case) that Cosmology@Home is one of the projects which generate a wrong CPID for my account. One some other sites doing it so, I\'ve been able to merge crappy computers trapped in the host\'s list and it cures the CPID problem.

Unfortunetaly your version of BOINC server doesn\'t provide this merge function in \"computers on your account\" page. I don\'t know how it works at the server\'s side, but could you consider to upgrade in order to provide this merge function?

Thanx a lot.
Regards

The merge function does exist in this project. On the \"Your computers\" page as well as on the details page for a specific host.

Btw, afaik projects don\'t generate wrong CPID\'s. They just need to get a chance to synchronize with other projects. A way of doing this is to have a machine that is attached to all your projects, and to let it contact each of these projects\' scheduler (Update button). Start with your oldest project first, in your case apparently MalariaControl.

If you ever wonder what server version this project is at (or any other project for that matter), check the server status. The newest updates now show the revision number. In Cosmo\'s case it\'s at [trac]changeset:14210[/trac]. Which is quite new, if you compare it to other projects out there. (Current latest revision is at [trac]changeset:14223[/trac])
