Is there any plans for exporting the xml stats?

Looks like our wishes are not going to be granted on this one, or at least, not for a while yet, judging by the deafening silence from the admins.

Sorry, I seemed to have missed this thread. For future reference, if you don't see an answer quickly enough, either ask again or send me a PM, and I'll respond.

I will look into exporting the stats. I admit, I'm not exactly sure what's required, but I'll look it up in the BOINC documentation.

You set up a cron job that runs something, not quite exactly certain what the executable is. Typically it is once every 4, 6, or 24 hours depending on the time spent generating the stats and the resources of the project. Also S@H at least seems to suspend exporting stats if the load on the database gets too high.

If you haven't seen it, it's http://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/DbDump.

yes,

personally I like every 6 hours which shouldn't be too taxing for all but the VERY large projects out there... :)

They look fine.

I've added the stats to Free-DC here

http://stats.free-dc.org/new/projpage.php?proj=cos

After a day or two the averages will work themselves out as well as the ranks and such..

Thanks

Yes, but the mini-teams stats of l'Alliance Francophone does'nt need XML stats but for comparaison with teams that are just above or under l'Alliance Francophone ^^

Great job on the stats!

It seems the stat sites have not gotten an update in almost a day...is there a problem with the export?

Hello dear teammate,

Of course. But my message was not really a piece of information, ...it was rather an opportunity for a discreet advertising in favour of our great and friendly team.

There was. Tasks don't seem to run well when they're detailed in the config.xml file, so I just manually run a cron job to take care of it. For some reason, though, I commented out that particular cron job when I was trying to fix the server issue yesterday morning.

It should be fixed now.
