I'd say go for it, make it default! I agree! Go for it! |

I just wonder why the fora and the tables (top user/computer...) are squeezed to 800pix - many users got 1280 width or more. Lot of work for the poor little mouse-wheel. LOL mic. ![]() |

Design looks ok to me, some small issues with the display in Firefox but has a better look than old one. |

Ok, so let's try this again, now that the page is working...: Just out of curiosity - how many people are actually using our desktop backgrounds? Ben Creator of Cosmology@Home |

Design looks ok to me, some small issues with the display in Firefox but has a better look than old one. The RSS feed does not appear to be working, either. |

Design looks ok to me, some small issues with the display in Firefox but has a better look than old one. Is it working on the main site now? Also, please be aware that I am working on making the screen wider for those who want it (I'll have to implement some sort of php session shenanigans, but it shouldn't be too difficult). ...The RSS feed does not appear to be working, either. Is it working on the main site now?[/quote] It does not appear to be working on the new site. Right now it does not even connect, while before it connected but I would get the message "live bookmark-failed" and no feed information would show. |

Ok, so let's try this again, now that the page is working...: This points up what I noticed, that they are hard to find. Perhaps a different description other than "downloads". Be direct, say "Desktop Backgrounds" ;) |

I just wonder why the fora and the tables (top user/computer...) are squeezed to 800pix - many users got 1280 width or more.My windows screen is sized to 1152x864 and I need a magnifying glass to read any Cosmo webpage now. I hope this is temporary. |

Cosmology@Home has a good new design, accepted only boinc-clients 5.10.xx, but on the title page is the old BOINC-logo "powerd by boinc" ... |

9-18-2007 @ 2:18 PM CST - New Website Design Part 2 Is Now Up If I were you, I wouldn't do that. But I'm not, of course ;) It will just give you 2 sets of pages to maintain. Or is it as simple as switching CSS file? BOINC.BE: For Belgians who love the smell of glowing red cpu's in the morning Tutta55's Lair |

Ok, so let's try this again, now that the page is working...: @Angus: See this page: http://www.cosmologyathome.org/downloads.php @Ben: I don't yet, but I will. They are really well made. I prefer the middle one with the gray background. BOINC.BE: For Belgians who love the smell of glowing red cpu's in the morning Tutta55's Lair |

The only thing I don't like about the new site look, is the font used for <title> and <h2>. It is a completely different family of font than the rest, and imho not in harmony. BOINC.BE: For Belgians who love the smell of glowing red cpu's in the morning Tutta55's Lair |

Ok, so let's try this again, now that the page is working...: I use the grey one on two of my rigs. Also, please be aware that I am working on making the screen wider for those who want it (I'll have to implement some sort of php session shenanigans, but it shouldn't be too difficult). Thanks, Scott! mic. ![]() |

When clicking on "join" or "returning participants", "ben wandelt" gets in the way and you can't see the whole drop down boxes. Does "ben wandelt" belong on the same line as "join"? If so then the screen needs to be wider or the page adjusted. I am using Fedora Core 3 Linux with Firefox as the browser on an AMD Opteron 285. Also are the backgrounds/downloads under "join"? If they are then I can't see them with the page displaying as it is at the moment. |

Ok, so let's try this again, now that the page is working...: Just curious but the wallpapers with the 3 spheres on it, do they represent anything? I see one looks like a universe and the other is Cosmo but what does the green one represent? P.S. Sorry I do not use them only because my wife thinks I am wierd for doing BOINC projects. Women. (They can't all be like you Kathryn) :) ![]() |
