This is where discussion about urgent problems will go that were posted in the URGENT Problems Thread. I will also move posts that do not belong in that thread to this one. Please do not be offended if I move your post here. Scott Kruger Project Administrator, Cosmology@Home |

There both working on the same result! While I'm new to ATA, is this normal? Do I get rid of the one that hasn't finished yet and wait for it to get picked up by another box or let it finish? |

745487 1634 8 Aug 2007 11:19:39 UTC 15 Aug 2007 11:19:39 UTC In Progress Unknown New --- --- --- Oh good, you are allowing the same host to crunch the same result now if no other class HR can be found. Applause. :) Then again, he's a TFFE'er, you should've sent him around the bend. TFFE'ers are used to that. ;-) |

@Ageless, great...I've already got a fan!! But It's not the same host, while both box's are mine, I thought that might be a problem but Scott says no. |

@Rudy Toody, you're quoting the last post as if your "problem" is as severe as yeebee's was before now. Please state what your problem is. As far as I see, 3 pages down in your results, all results have found a matching CPU. In that case, just have patience. |

Not quite. You may want to read my response again. My apologies, oh great one. I assumed something without checking. :-) caspr, give my regards to Keith, when you next see him. He'll talk utter bollocks about me, but still likes me more than the next fuzzy thing he sees around here. :) |

To quote parts of what people wrote, use the [ quote] text [/ quote] tags (without the spaces). |

I didn't add my own message, since his problem was identical to one we were having at the time. (no work) --Fred Born to OC/DC |

Actually, I quoted Truck Target. I see. And you don't think that adding information of your own about your setup and problem is useful to get to the end of the problem? You could've just as well posted "I have the same problem" in answer to that post. It would've been more useful than assuming that the next person knew what you meant. I have seen enough "Q&A" forums where people just quote others and don't leave information of their own setup, with computers hidden and although we answered the original poster, it didn't apply to them. So weeks later there would be a post how come the project or we 'helpers' didn't apply an instant answer to him as well. |

Not so urgent, I think, but after deattaching and then attaching to the project in the new url "cosmologyathome", I can't get any new WU's. I get a message about not having enough disk space. In fact, i have 978 MB (not too much, but I'm ruuning Ubuntu in a little partition) Is it really a problem? Thanks a lot. |

In fact, i have 978 MB (not too much, but I'm ruuning Ubuntu in a little partition) Is it really a problem? The files created by CAMB can be quite large, with the checkpointing files being several hundred Mb. So, yes, this can cause a problem. I think the rsc_disk_bound is currently at 1 Gb or so.
