It seems that merging hosts fonction does'nt work.

Not a big deal, but just to inform you if it has'nt until today.

(And to affirm that's I have only one P2, wich will try to complete one long WU ^^)

It does work. At least for me.

Not for me.

I got this when I am triing to merge host 66 and 1349

Sometimes BOINC assigns separate identities to the same computer by mistake. You can correct this by merging old identities with the newest one.

66 23: name
66 61: cpu
66 195: name
66 762: name
66 793: name
66 1349: cpu No hosts are eligible for merging with this one.

This is probably a better question for the BOINC people, as I have no idea what's involved in merging hosts.

From the quote above it appears that you have selected the oldest host, whereas I believe that you need to select the newest host and merge the old host into it, i.e. click merge this computer on host 1349, which should then give you the option to merge host 66 into it.

Hope this is clear and helps

Michael

Have tried in both direction. but results is the same :

1450 23: name
1450 61: cpu
1450 66: cpu
1450 195: name
1450 762: name
1450 793: name
1450 1349: cpu No hosts are eligible for merging with this one.

It's quite strange because :

my quote seems to tell us what's was wrong in merging with all my hosts.

for 23,195,762 and 793, it's ok

But for 61 : The name of this host is Santux and no patchoum. so strange it goes to CPU step.

For 66 and 1349, they are the same PC, more, 1349 and 1450 have been made with the same version of BOINC (only host id was deleted to switch between 1349 and 1450).

Anyways, my P2 seems to have take a little more than 7 hours to do one WU ^^

This is the wrong place to find an answer. Post the question in the BOINC forum (under Web Interfaces), they may be able to determine what is happening. See post 1666 above.
