Hi. My name is Snorre, and I'm from Norway. I join every Boinc project I find, alpha, beta or stable... :P I just joined here, but it's all out of WUs, so I'm not producing any results at the moment... :( |

Let's admit it. We're addicted. :p Our team should be called Alpha-testers Anonymous. LOL. I got BOINC up and running. I think I manged to trash two different installs of it. But I'm getting better. I won't boot back into Ubuntu until the weekend. The week is for Getting Things Done and I'm too much of a noob to be able to just get stuff done in Linux. Let's admit it. We're addicted. :p Our team should be called Alpha-testers Anonymous. hmmmm... Ubuntu possibly on hold for the weekend. I'm going to attempt (ha this should be interesting) to build BOINC with VS express. That and I have 150 report cards/portfolios to work on. Hi all, I feel that I know most of you already having read your pearls of wisdom on other projects. With LHC looking like having new work soon, we'll be able to attack the Universe (multiverse?) from all sides until it gives up all its secrets. "There is a theory that states: "If anyone finds out what the universe is for it will disappear and be replaced by something more bizarrely inexplicable." There is another theory that states: "This has already happened." "(Douglas Adams 1952-2001) |

So, i thought i should say hello and introduce myself as well. "Hi all!" While my major areas of study/work/volunteering are not in the sciences, I consider science to be of the utmost importance. I believe it is this shared passion for, and dedication to, forwarding science that makes BOINC the type of community we can truly appreciate being part of. I'm happy to be participating with everyone here and it's great to see those familiar faces from LHC, Malaria Control Beta, RALPH, etc. Happy crunching everyone! I could bring over a few more from KWSN, but I'm not sure how many users Scott wants at this point. There are a lot of Knights Who Say NI! that you would recognize also. So far I only PM'ed Al Dente, because I know he is a Cosmology freak and would offer to do me bodily harm if he was not included. ![]() ![]() Boinc Button Abuser In Training >My Shrubbers< |
